Gambrinus League: Victories for Olomouc, Slovácko and Brno

Příbram fell short under new coach Marko, České Budějovice went bottom of the League while Olomouc overcame Ostrava.

České Budějovice succumbed 3:1 to Brno, handing them their fifth defeat in a row and leaving them firmly at the bottom of the table. Although Budějovice went into the break 1:0 up thanks to a strike from Sandro, Brno struck back in the second-half with Švancara scoring two goals and Glaser adding a third. There have been calls for the resignation of Budějovice coach František Cipro but he recently told journalists that he was not worried about the situation as at this time last year they only had one point and finished 10th in the League.

Slovácko beat Příbram 1:0 to give new coach Habanec his second win since his arrival at the club. The only goal of the game came from Lukáš ten minutes from the end of the match.

Olomouc walked out victorious over Ostrava thanks to two goals from striker Ordoš. Fantiš put the home 1:0 up going into the break but two goals from Ordoš in seven minutes sealed Ostrava´s fate.
