U-21s win in IcelandIn the second qualification match for the European Championships 2011, the Czechs walked away with another 3 points. At the KR-Vollur stadium in Iceland, the Czech team beat the home side 2:0 in a difficult match. The game was evenly balanced in the first-half, with the Czechs having most of the chances. However, the biggest chance of the first-half fell to Iceland in 28th minute when the the ball was centred into the penalty area where the keeper parried a shot with Vidarsson missing the goal with a header. The Czechs continued the pressure in the second-half and their efforts paid off in 59th minute with a goal from Rabušic after a mistake from the keeper. The Czech's second goal came in 79th minute from Čelustka from a set play just outside the penalty area. The result leaves the Czechs with maximum points from their first two games.
