Defender Jan Šimůnek has signed agreed transfer terms with Kaiserslautern, which will see him at the club through to 2013.

According to Kicker magazine, Šimůnek has yet to agree terms with Wolfsburg, where the Czech player still has one year remaining on his contract. According recent reports, the transfer fee is rumoured to be in the region of 1 million Euos (25.7mln Kč). Šimůnek said, ''I want to stay in the Bundesliga and I believe that Kaiserslautern is the right choice. Šimůnek moved to Wolfsbug from Sparta in 2007 for 100 milion Kč.
